ECCB is one of the main conferences in computational biology and bioinformatics held in Europe. ECCB conference gathers participants from academia and industry from a broad range of disciplines: leading bioinformatics researchers, computational biologists, bio-IT professionals, researchers in molecular biology, molecular medicine, biophysics, biostatistics, and systems biology, as well as students from Europe and around the world.

Conference venue LOGOMO

Address: Junakatu 9, 20100 Turku

Logomo is a centre for culture, arts and creative economy operating from the defunct locomotive workshop near the main railway station and close to Turku city centre. The ECCB2024 exhibition takes place in the spacious lobby area where also coffee and luch is served during the conference.

General information

Invoicing
  • Exhibition/sponsorship fees are invoiced by Aboa Events (VAT FI23274223) on behalf of the local organizer, the University of Turku (VAT FI02458963)
  • Invoices are sent during January – April 2024
VAT
  • Scientific conferences of the University of Turku are exempted from VAT
    (except for social programme tickets sold separately)
Exhibition space
  • Please note that the exhibition stands include only the space, no structures/furniture (except a back wall structure in case the stand is not located by a wall).
  • Contact details for local suppliers for furniture, decor, electrical equipment will be provided to registred companies.
Company representatives
  • You will be able to register your free company representatives included in the Platinum, Gold and Silver packages via the conference participation form (available early 2024).
  • You may also register additional representatives (separate participation fee) via the conference participation form (available early 2024). Fee includes coffee and lunch servings as marked in the programme, as well as the welcome reception.
  • Tickets for conference dinner can be bought separately.
