Logomo

Address: Junakatu 9, 20100 Turku (entrance from Vaunukatu street side)

Logomo is a centre for culture, arts and creative economy located in a former locomotive workshop. The Logomo platform currently serves as a railway station for trains arriving from Tampere direction. The central bus station  and Turku city centre are nerby. A pedestrian bridge connects the city centre to Logomo, passing over the railway station. Walking from the Market Square takes approximately 20 minutes.

Accessibility played a crucial role during Logomo’s design phase. Every floor can be accessed by a lift and the number of doorway thresholds has been kept minimal. Wheelchair seating is located in the higher section ´C´, which is accessible by lift. This seating area also provides excellent visibility to the stage. Hearing accessibility has been ensured through the use of portable loop systems. More information about accessibility.
